This group project proposes a temporary House of Commons for a prominent urban site in Bristol, a historic city in the United Kingdom known for its cultural heritage and progressive values. The design addresses the need for greater connection between Parliament and the public, while responding sensitively to the site’s former industrial character.

The scheme integrates themes of democracy, adaptability, and sustainability, with flexible spaces that support parliamentary functions and future community use. The proposal also considers environmental challenges such as climate change and urban heat, incorporating passive design strategies and modular construction with the long-term vision of transitioning the building into an educational and cultural facility.
